Edit TV Box Settings

Although you can Edit Settings for a TV Box, this area is typically reserved for initial installation.

From this screen, you can edit:

  • TV Box Type - SG STB or LG STB (SeniorGroup Orange Box or LG Brand). In nearly every case, this setting should be SG STB.

  • TV Resolution - leave this as default --------- unless the resident’s TV is very old and doesn’t support 1080p resolution.

  • TV Input - HDMI1 or TV. Legacy setting, was used for antenna mode on the now deprecated LG STB.

  • TV Model - Custom, not required field. If you know the brand of the resident’s TV, input it here for future troubleshooting purposes.

To reach the Edit Settings (TV Box) page, click Residents > click into the resident’s profile > click Manage TV Box > click Edit Settings:
