Oracle HCM integration
The software known as Oracle HCM is used in some communities to manage HR (Human Resources) information. In this case, it houses all of the information about the employee.
OdessaConnect Teams is configured to integrate with Oracle HCM and pull data . When this integration is activated, we get all of the employee information from Oracle HCM and automatically import it into Teams.
This sync between the two systems happens each night at midnight.
For example: if you add a new team member into Oracle HCM on Monday at 3pm, they will appear within OdessaConnect Teams the next morning.
Do not change the following employee information within OdessaConnect Teams.
When the Oracle HCM integration is active, all changes to employee data must be made at the Oracle HCM level. If you change it, it will be overwritten when the system syncs each evening.

Name
ID
Phone Number
Email Address
Position
Department
Employment Type (FT, PT, PRN)
Start Date
Here is a list of employee information you can customize and configure:
Profile Photo (if employee in unable to upload or hasn’t uploaded a photo)
Additional Position type
Sub Department (if configured for the particular department. Most common in IL/AL/MC department)
